📝 Project Description

This project involved the deep cleaning of a high-traffic commercial forecourt and an interconnected domestic concrete driveway that had been neglected for several years.

⚠️ Challenges

• Stubborn Contaminants: The surface was heavily discolored by ground-in dirt, dark carbon build-up, carbon emissions, and deep oil spills.
• Safety Hazards: A thick layer of black-spot lichen and wet winter algae had formed, making the public walkways dangerously slippery when wet.
• Deep Weed Growth: Weeds and thick moss had aggressively taken root within the paving joints, threatening to shift the block structure.

• Industrial Pressure Washing: Deployed commercial-grade, high-pressure rotary flat-surface cleaners to ensure an even, powerful clean without zebra striping.
• Targeted Degreasing: Applied specialist eco-friendly degreasers to break down and lift embedded oil and grease stains out of the concrete.
• Re-Sanding & Finishing: Cleared all weeds from the paving joints and finished the job by re-sanding the joints to secure the structural integrity of the blocks.
